"Review is for the restaurant. A lovely old resort with loads of quaint character. We went for my partners bday. They may have been a bit understaffed but the wait staff continually checked in and let us know they would be with us. The food was great. Perfectly seasoned and cooked ribeye with fresh mushrooms (not button). Yummy soup and salad. The cocktails were good. Ben our server was friendly, efficient and attentive while being busy. We left and had..."

"Stopped by for lunch and drinks. It was a rainy afternoon. We all split our entrees which were very good, and large enough. Nice selection of German type beers. Bar tender who was also the waitress was charming, entertaining and efficient! Go ahead and explore the dining room and hotel lobby, it is a unique and beautiful place… Dan from Milwaukee"

"Garmisch Resort in Cable is an absolute gem. We had a group of 10 and Ben was our server—top-notch, attentive, and handled our large group flawlessly. We started with the relish tray, a true Wisconsin supper club classic, and it did not disappoint. For my main, I had the honey chicken and it was *so* good—perfectly done and full of flavor. Amazing food, excellent service, and an unbeatable setting on beautiful Lake Namakagon. Highly recommend this iconic establishment."

"Review is for the restaurant: Food and service were good. It's got the traditional Wisconsin supper club vibe like a smaller version of Ishnala in Wisconsin Dells. Food is a German flair and definitely reminds me of some traditional dishes we'd have growing up in Pennsylvania. For example, I got the smoked pork chops with sauerkraut and it was great. Basic old fashioned was reasonably priced as well."

"We have been regular guests here for many years and we always look forward to returning. What an inviting place! Great bar & restaurant and a friendly staff. The rooms are very clean and charming. I don't understand the occasional bad reviews. I just have a hard time believing most of them, some of which seem totally out of character for the Garmish Inn that I am familiar with. This place clearly deserves all of the four star and five..."
